Understanding your credit score
When you get your score it will be shown as a number out of 1000 with a descriptive word rating.
- 0 – 549 is Below Average,
- 550 – 624 is Okay,
- 625 – 699 is Good,
- 700 – 1000 is Very Good – Excellent
Lenders use this rating and review your financial behaviour to decide if they trust you to make repayments on time, as well as what interest rate they can offer you.
